My latest quilting project was a commercial fabric panel. The cot panel had the design outlined with a fine black line, so I quilted over the outline with a black thread. The background was then quilted in cream thread with free motion designs to fill the space. A great way to practice your free motion quilting skills. A very cute project to work on.

The piece was coloured with Inktense Pencils on cream cotton, then outline quilted with black thread. The background was quilted in a light grey. All done on my Bernina Q20.
It was selected as a finalist and will be shown at various Stitches and Craft shows across Australia during 2026. The finished piece measures 90cm square.
